Money Vs Existing
By Iman Tabbara Alayli, Staff Writer
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – I believe that the human race has evolved dramatically in the past couple of centuries granting us unlimited options and means to utilize and optimize our existence.
If I were to describe all what we are offered in this life, I would visualize it as a circle with an undefined diameter. The common ground between all existences in this world is the center of these diameters which I consider to be the minimum requirement for surviving. The diameter of each circle varies according to what a society offers its citizens. Therefore, I expect that any given person living somewhere in Europe should be living in a bigger circle then that of one living in an Arab country. [More]
Kinda Real Column

Beirut, Lebanon − Overwhelming feelings arise with a new born baby. I just had my first baby boy, and I cannot seem to have the time for anything or anyone; good thing I am writing this article!
No wonder God favors the mother over the father; he knows what she will be going through in this life. People think that the only hard part is when the baby is born and keeps you awake all night! Well, it is not! It is not only the delivery process and the long sleepless nights; it is the whole “ENCHILADA!” from day one of pregnancy till the day she dies. [More]
Society Part III: Of Them Together
By Mohamad Sobh, Staff Writer
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia − We have probed several characteristics of the opposite genders in past articles, and I found it appropriate that I merge the two together as one − because they cannot live in isolation of each other. I found myself very apprehensive at first because I had laid down several frameworks in the prevailing articles which I thought might constrain this particular excursion. In other words, I had backed myself against the wall. Nevertheless, and as usual, the words manifested on their own, and luckily for me, the words touched upon issues I think are of the most relevance. [More]
Faith?
By Saad Manasterli, Staff Writer
Virginia, U.S.A − I have taken all that I believed in and said “no.” I even took God and placed Him aside, and I asked the prophets to have a seat. I needed answers, so I questioned them all, one at a time. One prophet after another I asked, “Who sent you with this message of peace and hope?” Moses said, “I asked God that very question, and He told me, ‘tell them [the people] I, AM, sent you.’” I asked Jesus Christ, “Who gave you this message of peace and hope?” Jesus said, “I once asked Peter to spread God's words, and he also asked me, ‘Who shall I tell them sent me?’ I told him tell them that I, AM, sent you.” I asked Buddha, “Who brings to us these words of enlightenment?” Buddha replied, “There is only one path to true enlightenment”. New York, U.S.A. −Through the remainder of this essay I will refer to you as Pussy Cat. I will analyze and interpret as many of the glaring and unmistakable qualities that allowed me to hypothesize that you are in fact a pussy cat trapped in a body of a lion.
First of all, you are in fact the son of an animal that belongs to the cat family. [More]

California, U.S.A - "What is a friend? A single soul dwelling in two bodies." - Aristotle
There are many things that we take for granted in our lives, one of which is friendship. You never know how precious something is until you actually lose it. The definition of a friend is a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard. [More]
