Press ReleaseEHS seeks donations from Dubai World employees to create awareness, help fight hunger
EHS marked this years World Food Day themed 'The Right to Food' by distributing Dar Al Ber Society donation boxes and envelopes to all Dubai World Business

Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Ahmed Abdul Hussain, CEO, EHS said: "We firmly believe in the right of every human to have sufficient nutrition and to live a healthy life. It is disheartening to know that every night an estimated total of 854 million women, men and children go to sleep on an empty stomach. Every human being has the right to food with dignity. We are taking a major role in creating awareness about the need to eradicate hunger, and our programme today aims at combining efforts to fight poverty and to draw attention to this humanitarian cause.”

“This day is an opportunity for creating awareness about a basic human right: the right to have access to safe and nutritious food and the right to be free from hunger.”

“Marking this day is just a step towards building a stronger momentum for enhancing food availability for all people,” Mr. Abdul Hussain added.

Food and Agriculture Organization celebrates World Food Day on 16 October of every year.
