Kano, Nigeria − The big bang theory, alongside the steady state theory, polarized scientists for decades with regards to the actual origin of this universe. The big bang theory, formulated in the first half of the last century, asserts that the universe began from one giant nuclear explosion. Einstein's theory of relativity and Edwin Hubble's expanding universe theory, together with the discovery of the overwhelming evidence of gamma radiation detected by the Hubble telescope, proved, beyond doubt, that indeed the universe was born out of the big bang explosion. Tai Chi (ti-CHE) (Qi is pronounced "chee," and is often spelled "chi."), is a series of gentle, slow and synchronized movements or postures that promote a reduction of stress and increase relaxation. It is the emphasis on breathing, flowing gestures and inner stillness that relieve stress and anxiety; this is why Tai Chi is referred to as "mediation in motion".
