Kinda Real Column
By Kinda Adra Mugharbel, Staff Writer
Beirut, Lebanon - What should we do if we want something really bad? Should we run after it until we finally get it? Or wait for it to come to us? And if we decide to run after it, to what extent should we go? And when should we give up? [More]
On Independence… and Liberation
By Mohamad Sobh, Staff Writer
Beirut, Lebanon − So many times we have heard these two particular nouns, but sadly in separate contexts. One is ingrained in the slogan of a certain political bloc, while the other word is one of the constituents of the other political alliance’s dogma. [More]
Holocaust
By Saad Manasterli, Staff Writer
Fairfax, Virginia -On a great sunny Saturday, I head down to the District to remember a gloomy time in humankind, a time when humanity lost its way and innocent people were the scapegoats for all the anger of a few idiots. The bustling city of Beirut has once again been hit with a tragedy. The car burning in the alley way; the sound of ambulances pierces through the pre-night air. Once again, martyrs have given their life for one cause: the freedom of Lebanon. [More]
